A Chicago charter school sent 100 percent of its graduating seniors to college--by not counting the 43 percent who didn't go to college, explains Rachel Cohen.
What the Times fails to mention is that members of the Seattle Shadow School Board also filed an appeal against the Extension of Superintendent Goodloe Johnson's Contract, on the grounds that the Board's decision was "arbitrary and capricious" because it did not consider all the evidence vis a vis ignoring the State Auditor's findings....
and this story got electronic media coverage and has been run as far away as Florida...
